Eco Friends

Here at Adswood Primary School, we encourage our pupils to be globally aware and recognise the vital role they play in the future of our planet.

We strongly believe that we all have a duty of care in protecting our wonderful world.

Our eco friends, who have been appointed by Mrs Smart and led by Mrs Bate all demonstrate a passion for the environment and making Adswood Primary School an eco-friendly place.

Their duties so far have involved purchasing recycling bins for all rooms, emptying these weekly, discussing ideas for future recycling projects which will be supported by their upcoming visit to Langley Lane Recycling Centre for an educational visit.

Being an eco-friend gives them the opportunity to encourage others to use the three R’s-recycle, reuse, reduce.
