Hi there I’m Janet Dancy.. I’ve been a governor at Adswood Primary School for a little over 7 years and became Chair of Governors in September 2020. I am widowed with 3 sons and 8 grandchildren 7 of which have either attended or are attending Adswood, hence my interest in becoming a governor. I am retired and was originally an Accounting and IT support manager and Office Manager, I love being able to bring and share my work experiences within my governor role. I’m also a Jehovahs Witness and enjoy sharing my time talking about the Bible and the future it promises. I look forward to continuing this incredible journey I’m on with the staff and pupils of this amazing school!!
