Pupil Voice

Children at Adswood Primary have a voice  – they are heard – we action!

Children lead the way for school improvement in our school. We always ask the children their opinions and ideas to ensure they know they are heard.

There are many ways in which we listen to our children. Some are detailed below.

Tea with the Deputy /Headteacher
To promote pupil voice and ensure all children have a voice, pupils are given opportunities to discuss school life with the deputy and Headteacher on a fortnightly basis.

Speak to the Subject Leaders and Inclusion Team
Each half term Subject leaders/Inclusion Team staff talk to pupils about aspects of our curriculum, school life, bullying, wellbeing and other foci to ensure we continue to further improve and enrich the lives of our pupils here at Adswood Primary.

Learner Suggestion Box

Positioned in our entrance hall, the box allows our children to add any suggestions they have to improve our school. The box is checked regularly by Mrs Smart
