Fire Safety Workshop
Fire Safety Visit from Stockport Fire Brigade
This afternoon, our Year 6 pupils were delighted to welcome Stockport Fire Brigade into school for an important and engaging fire safety session. The firefighters spoke to the children about how to stay safe on and around Bonfire Night, including what to wear, how to enjoy fireworks responsibly, and how to look after themselves and others during the celebrations.
They also shared what life is like as a fire officer, inspiring many of our pupils to think about how they, too, could help keep their communities safe in the future.
Learning directly from our local fire brigade helps our children to understand the real-world importance of safety, responsibility, and community service — especially at this time of year.
A huge thank you to Stockport Fire Brigade for visiting and for helping our pupils stay safe while having fun this Bonfire Night!
