Year 2 ZooLab Visit : Exploring Animal Classification

Our Year 2 children had an exciting visit from ZooLab as part of our new Science topic about animal classification. The children had the chance to meet and observe some incredible creatures up close, including a tarantula, scorpion, corn snake, cockroach and a giant African land snail. They learned how to group animals based on their characteristics.  The children enjoyed learning about the different animals and getting to hold some of them.
